NEW ENGLAND COMPUTER VISION WORKSHOP 2017


 

Overview

The 2017 New England Computer Vision Workshop (NECV) is being held at Northeastern University on 17 November 2017. NECV brings together researchers in computer vision and related areas for an informal exchange of ideas through a full day of presentations and posters.Each year we have about 100 people that attend from various universities and industry research labs in the New England area.

Participation is free for universities (or research institutions) only; a limited number of industry spots will be made available through sponsorship (please contact us via email). Please register here by Friday, November 3rd if you have not already done so.

2. Submission

If you wish to present, please submit a 1-page abstract using the CVPR Extended Abstract template found here:
http://www.pamitc.org/cvpr15/extended_abstracts.php.
Any and all abstracts are both welcome and encouraged. Please send no later than by the end of 24 October 2017 02 November 2017 (i.e., 11:59PM EST).

Per tradition, several will be chosen as orals; all will be provided space to present poster (i.e., provided a complete submission was made).

​**Note that, same as in the past, because all submissions will be accepted, and there will be no publications resulting from the workshop, it will not be considered “prior peer-reviewed work” according to any definition of which we are aware. In other words, work presented at the workshop could be subsequently submitted to other conferences and workshops without citation.

NEU is an urban campus, and we highly encourage use of public transportation to get here. East Village is few right near Mass Ave. (Orange Line) and Northeastern University (Green Line) T-stops.

If you need parking, please let us know in the registration form.

If you plan to come a day ahead, or want to stay an extra day, there are many lodging options in the Boston area.
